Sports betting...anyone do it?
NFL games on tv, internet sport sites, all are pushing the betting sites.
Draft Kings, Bet MGM, FanDuel, Caesars Sportbook and tons of others. Does anyone here ever use these sites?? And if so...has it paid off?

I like listening to podcasts or streaming sites for UM sports while outside in the summer. Lately, they devote a huge amount of time to the betting lines on every game.
I am not interested in that at all and wonder who is?

^^^ It was legalized for us in MI a couple years back. I wonder if they are making a big push because it's not going over so good.

I've often wondered how many posting on Baz's college football thread are gamblers. Me personally? Nope, not a gambler. But that does make me odd man out when pool tournaments and money matches are streaming. There, it's honor system gambling, with the word quickly spreading about "airballers", those who make a bet & don't pay. A portion of those find themselves physically injured...
(edit) Casino sports betting won't cover pool tournaments. This because when a casino hosted a tournament some decades ago, had betting on it, and odds were posted. Some of the players looked at the tournament prize amounts, looked at the odds posted...and miracle of miracles, the long shot player won! No way the Casino could prove anything, but yeah..painfully obvious that the fix was on. Some top pros really shot themselves in the foot on that one because they could only think short term. Those who gamble on other games/sports shouldn't feel immune. Any and all sports can be and have been rigged.

I worked hard for my $$$ ( now retired ) so no games of chance for me . Especially when the odds are heavily stacked against you . But for those that enjoy it rock on .

I used to bet on college football, about $500 on a weekend. I used Bovada as my booking site. I lost interest when we moved to our new place about 5 years ago. It needed a lot of work and I no longer had time to sit and keep track of football games all afternoon. Still don't, so I still don't watch/care about football or betting on it.
I kept my records, always trying to outdo my previous year's performance. After 10 years or so of football betting I made a total of about $500.

^^^ Not bad...you did alright.
The only gambling I do is play the Mi Online Lotto Games. I play Mega Bucks game every morning. I currently have $274 in my account after about three years of playing. (at one time, I was up to $760) It's fun. If I lose that...I'm done.
