360 Images from my Motor Glider.
Learning curve is steep on editing 360 degree video. At least 25x more harder than GoPro single point of view.
Still grasping how to export 360 Video. 360 cameras with lenses pointed forward and backward so your images are like you're in the middle of a sphere like Snow Globe and then glance and view and zoom in any direction ![]() But holy **** look at some of these frame image grabs from last nights flight. First time flight with camera on motor glider, damn impressive and stunning technology really. Insta360 X3 is only ~$300 off Amazon. Major price drop since they released an X4 upgraded unit couple months ago. How cool are these! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now to get my Video exported and edited, I'm shooting at 5.7K / 30 and video files get huggggge. wow.

Ah the memories as a young lad, lusting over the COX .049 control line airplanes on the top shelf at Kmart. Finally saving up Paper Route money to buy a real nitro-methane burning machine. Glorious feeling of a fresh bleeding engine backfire prop cut in your finger doused in 15% nitro to get your pre-pubescent hair free ball sack in a pucker. Hah, must of be all of 15 feet of dental floss for string spinning around with Control Line. I graduated up to OS Max .40's on a Flying Wing Satan model on 50 feet of .030 braided steel piano wire "strings". Outside Loops are my nemesis while on lines.
As well as the Conscendo Glider, I also fly a Turbo Timber STOL piper cub type plane too with full flaps. ![]()
