Can AM Riverside International Raceway.
I copied these from some 35mm Kodachrome slides I took. I was searching through some old pics when I found these.

Riverside Can-Am October 1972, I think. Wow! What exciting times. I drove my F/F in a preliminary race that morning.
Second biggest thrill was having a fellow in line at the snack bar step backward onto my foot. He turned around to apologize. It was Dan-flippin'-Gurney. And I was wearing my driver's suit, just like him. He was un-impressed, but couldn't have been a nicer guy. |

My first time at Riverside was the Times Grand Prix in 1961. (Maybe it was -62) Shelby drove a bird cage Maserati with a nitro pill under his tongue for angina pain.
