I lived about 2 blocks away from that mental hospital in college. Rode my bicycle past that little exercise yard/basketball court every day. Sometimes in the afternoon they would be out there. They all would stop whatever it was they were doing and watch me go by. A little creepy.

Funny thing...watching football today, the commercials for Jersey Mike Subs were on about 5 times.

Brad Dourif was the best male actor in the movie.

I think that was Brad Dourif's first movie role. Sort of a tossup who was best in their first movie between him and Eli Wallach for best in their first movie

Yes, state mental hospital was a very creepy place. There was this one little gal from Montana, psych major, smoking hot. She worked at that place for clinical training, "Never turn your back on a schizophrenic."
