				What's going to happen to...

all those boats that have been grounded down in FLA? Seems to me their sea worthiness has been compromised by being flung around by the hurricane. Anybody know? Just curious as there seems to be an awful lot of them.

They will likely be sold for pennies on the dollar. Years ago when a 'cane devastated Charleston and the boats were stacked up like firewood, and a lot worse, they just had to "get them gone". A Jax buddy was a crane operator and his company (Moodys) was hired. Since he had means at his disposal.... a crane and a barge, he purchased a 50'er for $500 .... and took it back down to Green Cove Springs to repair and restore.

Some get scrapped. Some get repaired. Watch Craigslist for the next 6 months. You will see many of them for sale. The real thing to beware of is a car that got flooded. A quick dry out, title washing and off to auction. Result is someone in Iowa gets less than they paid for. | ||

Nothing compared to the number of cars swamped.
