SEATTLE — Three teens are facing gun charges after being found brandishing firearms during the Chinatown Seafair Parade.

On July 21, Seattle police received reports of the brandishing near patrol officers near 7th Ave South and South Weller St. and responded at 7:31 p.m.

When police arrived in the area, three teenagers, two 14-year-old boys and a 13-year-old boy, were found and detained. Officers recovered a handgun from each of the boys.


According to police, two of the three guns recovered were reported stolen firearms and had been modified to be fully automatic.



A 14-year-old boy was found in possession of a loaded, modified handgun with a 30-round magazine and an auto-sear, which allows for automatic firing, making it a machine gun.



A 13-year-old was found in possession of a loaded, untraceable Polymer-80 handgun with and auto-sear, which allows for automatic firing, making it a machine gun.



The other 14-year-old boy was found in possession of a loaded handgun. The three were booked into juvenile detention at the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children & Family Justice Center.



The teens are facing charges ranging from unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful carry of a pistol, and felony harassment.

Of course. Normal 13 YOs can't get a semi auto with the switch. They don't have that kind of connections or money.

Only 14 and 13, and having done their maths, science and English homework for the evening, then having manged to go out and do some brandishing of firearms to prep' up for their later careers.
