Help with Japanese characters
Can anyone provide a rough translation? For info, they're on mechanical parts, bearing mounts. Might be front/middle/back? Inner/center/outer? First/second/third? Something along those lines?
Also, I assume they're in order :D. I hope they're in order... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1666153869.jpg |
They're upside down!

In all seriousness, I believe they are rotated 90º clockwise. Rotate them 1/4 turn left and you'll see them how they should be oriented.
内 inside 目 eye 上 up/top I can see "inside" and "up/top" but the "eye" is a bit confusing. But maybe it makes more sense to you. |
kick ass!
Well, mostly. The "eye" might make sense... These are bearings within the RA axis of a telescope. The "eye" one is closes to the tail end of the axis, where the polar scope screws in, so that makes some sense. The other two are within the mount, and "up/top" is topmost, while "inside" is in the middle, inside. |
Great!
I figured "inside" and "top" probably made sense. I was hoping that the specific circumstance allowed "eye" to make some sense because it's the one that seemed the oddest and possibly least sensible. |
