How often in late Oct would you expect this?
75 and sunny...unreal for here.
(sorry the sun is in direct aim of the cam) <iframe type="text/html" frameborder="0" width="480" height="394" src="//video.nest.com/embedded/live/CUP0pOs8kM?autoplay=1" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
75º and sunny in October. Not enough. It's 85º and sunny right now. I was sweating outside earlier. We've got a cold front coming through so it should be 75º on Tue!
I'm not sure that's what you meant. :D |
Very rare to be that warm at this date in W. MI...but I'll take it. :)
Just 5 days back, my lawn was all white with snow. (it only lasted for an hour) |
:DNormally low mid to low 70s until December
|
When is your 'Fall Season'? :)

We hit 90 today!
I had to fly a project to far south OK and into Baja, Ok along the red river. It was pleasant at 6,500 feet, warm at 3,000 ft at the project flight altitude, but windy as heck. 40 knot wind at a 40 degree angle to our flight lines. When we came in to land it was like someone turned on the heater. And 100 low lead aviation fuel is $5.59 per gallon. 40 gallons, ouch! |
^^^ It was very comfortable today at 75 degrees here.
I had to pay $3.85 prem for my Prelude...might be the last fill-up of the season for it. |
We hit 65* for a high today.....felt great. 42* as i type.
|
I remember a Columbus Day weekend canoe trip in the Adirondacks (Northern NY) where it was 75F (1989?). I also remember flurries when we're paddling outbound. This was a canoe trip with the first Mrs. Beard.
I also remember having to do oral surgery. She had a wisdom tooth out and a piece of it was left behind. I had to remove the fragment with some pliers, probably my original Leatherman. She was a lot easier to get along with after that. |
I don't expect to EVER be in Michigan in late Oct .... Lower to mid 70s here tho' ... and I love fall weather :D

I know where to go for VDO repairs now too :) They sound awesome... |
74 and sunny again here today. The leaves are falling fast now.
The Trac-Vac will be used next week.:) |
We got 8" of snow yesterday, which is like a week+ earlier then usual. We were a bit warmer then usual last week, but it's just mother nature. :p
|
It's 85 degrees here today. But we are in Northern Mexico aka San Antonio Texas
|
Our average high for this day in MI is 55 degrees.
Today is 20 degrees over that. Climate change is great! |
North Florida, so unless a cold front comes thru and dumps rain....
|
My sister lives in the west end of NC
Her high temp the last two days has been 15-20 degrees less than here. I'm sure that will reverse soon. |

What ever it is....I'm happy with it.
The pay-back will be in the spring when the snow never leaves. |
It was in the 70s all weekend in Chicago. got allot of outdoor and garage work done. Put my Porsche away for the season. Beautiful weekend.
|
I've got flowers re-blooming. Most unusual.
|
77 here yesterday and the same expected for today and tomorrow. It hasn't rained here since early September and the ground is just dust. Need to plant garlic and the wildflowers, but I can't plant in dust. 50% chance of rain 3 days from now, then back to low chances.
Not happy. |
This morning in my garden after a few nights of light frost.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1666624856.jpg Even had a raspberry show up  http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1666624916.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1666624976.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1666625071.jpg |
That is weird with everything thinking its spring again.
We are over a month past our average first killing frost here....and the 10-day doesn't show any either |
It's in the 70's again today.
It brings out all the Asian ladybugs and stink bugs...they are all over the place here...especially the house siding. |
