Porsche Unveils Gen3 Formula E Raccecar With 811-Horsepower and AWD!

Porsche is back with some exciting news for us!

Their newest Formula E racecar has been unveiled and brings an improved light-weight chassis and a significant increase in horsepower over the previous Gen2 cars.

Quote:
The rear motor makes 476 hp while the front motor puts out 335 hp — which is all the Gen2 cars had in total! Porsche says the 99X’s new powertrain was developed by engineers at Weissach. The battery is smaller and lighter yet is more powerful, and the energy recuperation systems are more efficient.
Our friends over at PCA have the full scoop:

Porsche unveils 811-horsepower, all-wheel-drive 99X Gen3 Formula E race car
