CMA's

Not sure if anyone saw this, but amazing performance at the CMA's by Chris Stapleton and Patty Loveless. Worth a watch (if you're into this kinda thing...)

Love her voice, but I think her best duet partner is Vince Gill.

I've never been a very big fan of country music, but I do like Chris Stapleton's music. That's not bad. I prefer his portion to hers. I think there's something about the way that many/most more traditional country singers sing that doesnt' appeal to me. She almost doesn't have that quality, but she's got it a little. She seems like a good singer with a good voice. I like the song.

I kept expecting Raylan Givens and Boyd Crowder to show up. LOL!

I'd go as far as say that everyone's
best duet partner is Vince Gill.
That man can sing and play guitar,
but his best talent is blending his voice
and music with others, never hogging the spotlight.
I'd like to meet him someday.

the dead were the best country band ever

and they could sing in key

but never made the CMA

^^ I know I'm in the minority, but I don't think there's a band on earth I dislike more than the dead! Can't stand the music, can't stand the whole "scene"....just doesn't do it for me.

Nope, you are not alone. They are freakin horrible. They sound like a group of guys trying to learn an an instrument, playing a different song, together in a shed.

As fall as Patti Loveless and Vince Gill, this is a touching performance by them. major props to her.

The dead were not a good country western band, that is silly. The Rolling Stones on the other hand, yeah.

Not just guitar, he can play anything. That mug can make a mandolin sing.

^^^ Man, if that performance doesn't move you................you might already be dead. One word: Beautiful
