Christine McVie has passed
Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac has passed at the age of 79 after a short illness. I always felt her contributions and vocals were such an integral part of the band. She leaves us with my favorites:

Her and Lindsey Buckingham had a special bond and highly respected each other's musicianship and songwriting talents. They both were the driving force behind FM's best years.
Such a talent, she will be missed. RIP "Songbird".

My first introduction to Christine in Fleetwood Mac, Kiln House album. Sad to see her pass. Grew up with the Mac before the Nicks/Buckingham era. Ms McVie was a great part of that band

A sad day indeed. I spent a lot of time listening to her and the rest of Fleetwood Mac in the 80's.
I remember reading somewhere that she had a wicked sense of humor that she almost never revealed in public or when performing - except maybe in this video: |
