Christine McVie has passed

Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac has passed at the age of 79 after a short illness. I always felt her contributions and vocals were such an integral part of the band. She leaves us with my favorites:

Don't Stop
Everywhere
Little Lies
Over My Head
Say You Love Me
You Make Loving Fun

Oh my .... that's just horrible news . Although Stevie was awesome, she wasn't the only awesome female in that band.... Such a talent, and such a voice.... Outside of the Mac ..... Her solo album is nearly Perfect too ... the C. McVie titled one from the 80s .... It's awesome.

RIP Christine ....

Her and Lindsey Buckingham had a special bond and highly respected each other's musicianship and songwriting talents. They both were the driving force behind FM's best years.

Such a talent, she will be missed. RIP "Songbird".

My first introduction to Christine in Fleetwood Mac, Kiln House album. Sad to see her pass. Grew up with the Mac before the Nicks/Buckingham era. Ms McVie was a great part of that band

Two more from that brilliant Fleetwod Mac band prior to Nicks/Buckingham

A sad day indeed. I spent a lot of time listening to her and the rest of Fleetwood Mac in the 80's.

I remember reading somewhere that she had a wicked sense of humor that she almost never revealed in public or when performing - except maybe in this video:
