Just discovered Roadworthy Rescues. Anybody else a fan?

Just binged watched all the episodes of Roadworthy Rescues on Motortrend Channel. The guy who hosts the show and does the wrenching is very entertaining. He finds old abandoned junkers and get then running usually where they sit. Really a fun series.

He has extended videos under Vise Grip Garage. I find his "character" to be quite likeable, and on the show I appreciate what he does to get an interesting, driving car on the road.

Yes, he seems to always relate the story about the vehicle - well to the audience. I'm a fan

Ive been watching since near the start of his Youtube channel. His Youtube rescues are much better than TV. Usually go on for about 1 1/2 hours. TV skips over a lot of what he does, I guess due to the 40 minute format.

Yes. I recorded the series and watched them all. Allows me to skip commercials. Good show.

Oh yeah he is great. I love his disclaimer at the beginning of the VGG vids and love his terminology, sparkalators, fire makers, battries, been a fan for several years now.

I've been meaning to make a post about this series and asking if others are watching it! I'm really impressed with how "easily" he seems to get these cars running and moving after they've been sitting for decades. I wasn't aware of his youtube channel and will have to check it out.

I'm glad Silver912e brought this up. I subscribed/watched him on YouTube and like the way he presents. Those videos have more content too as you'd figure. I sure hope MT renews him. I cringe when he's got his legs under a vehicle if I can't see any jack stands in the shot.

Dang, I wished they'd renew Junkyard Gold...

I watched his MT show. It's good. Season 2 is coming. But I like the Vice GripGarage channel better as well, more detail.Been watching that for several years.

Is it me or does it seem like sometimes when these type of shows become to polished, they lose just a little bit of their appeal, I noticed Derek seemed just alittle more commercial for Motor Trend. For example, the early days of Wheeler Dealers were much better.
