Tom’s In Bündches of Trouble

Remember way back when Tom skipped out on two weeks of training for ’personal issues’ when he went to spend time with his kids? Apparently, he went to the Bahamas where FTX is based.

Then Gisele dumped him like a sack of rotten rutabagas.

And his football days appear to be numbered.

Then FTX crashed.

And now he and the exmissus have parted ways.

And both are defendants in a biggest heist in history.

Now I have been wrong with math because I hardly ever get 4 as the sum of two and two…

Poor Tom...but he had fun while it lasted, right?

Did Tom know FTX was a scam?

Yes, I read about this while standing in line
at the check-out aisle.
Did you know she is pregnant with bigfoot and an alien?

CB should get 5 stars for the creativity of the thread title. SmileWavy

I'm gonna go way out on a limb and predict Tom lands on his feet.

Yep .... As long as his offensive line holds up :).

Lots of folks fell for the con .... Brady, Curry, and Cuban will survive just fine....

Of course he didn't know. He's not a Congressperson tasked with knowing, creating and tweaking laws that protect Americans from financial abuses.

Nor is he POTUS from a state that has made itself hospitable to entire industries built on taking advantage of uneducated working class people.

I don’t think the US govt should be wasting effort and time trying to legitimize crypto with regulation. Let people lose money. Call it tuition.

berettafan 11-21-2022 01:09 PM

Even better make an announcement that in no way will the Fed gov't offer any assistance related to crypto investments, crimes, theft, regulation, etc.

^^^^ Correct, too bad so sad for those. They tried to find lightning in a bottle. Did not work. Maybe they should not have risked as much capital as some of them did..... is what it is. You took you chances, and they did work out... Not the taxpayer's problem to solve for you....

pwd72s 11-23-2022 09:57 AM

The greedy seem to be easily scammed. Just sayin'...

I feel sorry for all the scammers, drug dealers, money launderers, international crim's. They had all their money in crypto.

The smugness coming from you is sickening. If that is what you know about the crypto sphere, you are uneducated. Then, gloating that TB may have taken losses, even more douchery. When the market dips, do you have the same relish? Pretty sure TB is doing alright. Not a huge TB fan, but rooting for people with problems or losses just comes across as not good to put it lightly.

I play in the crypto sphere with play money, 6 figure play money, have had my azz handed to me, but still up overall. Been in it since 17. Also, my real estate portfolio is up 7 figures, brokerage account not doing too bad either, 7 figure residence paid for. Think I will keep playing.

IMO the concept of crypto currencies is at a minimum globalism and at worst treason.

I am shaking my head and enjoying the show.

I'm so terribly sorry to have sickened you in such a way. Really sorry. I had no idea you were TB's girlfriend and have to cry into your own pillow instead of face down in TB's pillow.

Some posters' fonts should default to green imo :D....

I went to Vegas .... bet my houses on red ... or was it black... I forget which....

Feelin' groovy :)

Well in the end i don’t think we really need to worry about Tom. He’ll be just fine.

Aurel 11-24-2022 04:26 AM

I wonder how much Tom had invested in FTX. Hopefully not all his fortune. I heard $650M, is that correct? Either way, it is always dumb to put all your eggs in one basket.

Noah930 11-24-2022 01:10 PM

Not really touched upon in this thread yet, but I wonder about the lawsuits/investigations/attempts to hold the celebrity spokespeople (like Tom & Gisele) responsible for this mess. They (Tom/Gisele/etc) are just hired talking heads. They're not actually masterminding the house of cards. Why are they being investigated as part of the fraud?
Are they somehow expected to do their due diligence (as what, athletes/models/actors?) sussing out the business plans of these companies they're hired to endorse? How are they liable for the failings of FTX any more than the cameramen filming the commercials or the TV stations airing them?
