I dove the blue hole in Belize 20 years ago. 130 feet for about one minute with bull sharks another 30 feet below us. That was a fun trip.

Thanks Sup. At 80 I'm not planning on acquiring equipment again and getting started. I'd be up for snorkling some time. I was just wondering if the certification would still be honored.

Been a certified diver since 1984. Dove all over the place and done cave diving too. The deepest I have been was 140 feet. Been to the Hole in Belize as well. Probably the best diving I have experienced was Belize. I typically start stretching my ear drums about 1 month prior to a dive by hold ing nose and pressurizing a bit. Never had an issue so long as I went down slowly and continually equalized my ears.

The Blue hole in Belize is wholly over rated, highly unremarkable, yeah at 150 feet you see some rocks. yawn.

Superman, if you can get certified in the Puget Sound you'll be fine around the world. I salute you cold water diver.

Anyone want to go to Fiji? I won some awards for this short film.
