Found a boating forum that reminds me of pelican parts!

My old Bayliner bowrider, that I had for a number of years, finally gave up the ghost last summer. Wasn’t worth putting any money into it, so I sold it cheap. A few weeks ago I bought a used Sea Ray bowrider. The difference in quality is amazing. Like going from a Chevy to a Porsche. Anyways, it turns out that there is a forum just for Sea Ray boats. clubsearay.com. Has a bunch of subforms that reminds me of pelican parts. And on the tech boards you can find out anything you would ever need to know regarding working on your boat. I look forward to getting it out on the lake next summer.

Those 2 boats are at the opposite ends for quality. Sea Ray and Pachanga are nice boats!
So many forums out there. The OT page on Bass Boat Central has a reply about every 30 seconds. Lots of 'good ol boys'

I used to go to this restoration forum a lot. These guys have great knowledge on repairing older small boats. I had a long running post there back when I was re-doing the floors, stringers and bulkheads in my 21' Larson.

It was the first lake boat that I ever bought. It was already 20 years old when I got the boat. Paid $3900 for it. I figured if I tore it up learning how to operate the boat I would not be out much money. 13 years later, started having engine problems. Ended up selling it for $1000. We had a lot of good times on that boat.

Nothing wrong at all getting an entry level anything getting into a hobby, at least I do not think so.
