Did you receive and Porsche goodies for Christmas ?

Hello everyone hope you enjoyed Christmas with family and friends . Did you receive any Porsche goodies for Christmas ? I received a few .

1. Three Porsche calendars . This is a yearly tradition .

2. Porsche crest valve stem caps for the 996 . Already have them on the Boxster .

3. Porsche windscreen shade

4. My wife found a painting by a local artist of the Janis Joplin Porsche 356 in its wild hippie paint theme . It has a ghost picture of Janis . It's pretty cool and I just hung it front and center in my man cave garage .

Which radar detector did you get ?

Uniden r3, it seems to be the leader in the mid price range as far as i can tell. Its definitely got alot more features than the old escort 8500 and beltronics in my other cars.

Went with blendmount under the mirror mount. Super high quality, but i wish there were good options for higher up hard mounts

I have this mount in two of my cars (911 and Tundra). Very happy with it.

Great radar detector BTW.

Thanks was really tempted to try that, i saw a similar endorsement elsewhere on the interweb, especially since the blendmount is so pricey.

My experience with almost any sort of adhesive in the texas sun hasnt been great, but it may be just fine. Just didn't want to experiment

Would love to build a big Tamiya someday, there’s a 910 too. I got a 1/24 986 last year.
I got control arms this year.

Spousal unit gave me Chalk key sides and leather key case for the new (to me) 2018 911 Turbo. Daughter gave me painted Porsche shield black valve caps.
