State of the market for 1960s long-hood 911
Any opinions from the board are appreciated. Wondering if the Hagerty and JD Powers guestimates are reasonable bench-marks.

Your guess is as good as mine. As I see it, things have cooled off, but superb cars still sell for high$. I see 912s climbing to 911T values which I find bonkers (and I had both so I'm not a 912 hater, far from it). I'd use the BaT sales as a benchmark instead, Hagerty and SCM are a little low or offer too wide a range to be all that useful...

On BAT, my impression is that the presentation is highly important...lots of photos, and driving videos. Good luck on selling the 911T. My opinion on the early 911 prices is pretty much in line with Deschold

I follow Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes W124 and Datsun Z, as well as a few others on BaT. My sense is the best cars are still trading at stratospheric levels. The "very nice but not super special" are also still doing well. Very low mileage cars are still doing extremely well. There has been a little softening for everything else, which I think is proper.

Like most, I don’t know what to make of this market. I’ve seen two long hoods for sale Locally for values we haven’t seen since pre-2010 (non scams). Then, see 964/993’s at all time high levels.
