What kind of auto body filler am I looking for?

I want to fill in between the metal flare and the quarter panel. It would probably be an inch thick at its most but would transition better than what I have now.

I’m sure if I use regular body filler, overtime it would flex, rust, fall off, etc.

A friend suggested West System epoxy with a powdered filler. I looked it up online, but wasn’t sure if I could use the amount I’m thinking.

What am I looking for?

I think I would rather bridge the gap with fiberglass mat and smooth it out from there

At this point might as well use Green Kitty Hair.

^^ yes, or at least metal panel / filler as that would be entirely too much material of any kind to fill not to mention weight...

I really don't think you want that much filler. It will crack with temperature and such soon enough. I'd suggest finding another way or properly fit flares.

Mar-Glass would not be that thick and its stranded so it will survive track use.

What I’m looking for might not be out there.

I’m not familiar with fiberglass and I imagine I would have to put something underneath the fiberglass mat to start the shape.

Mar glass and kitty hair sound like the same thing.

I took a quick look in the garage and half an inch, maybe a little more, might work at its thickest point.
