Our job as a parent is never done. We just adapt to what they need.

Most days in court representing criminal defendants I realize that my 2 kids are doing just fine and I am very grateful. Although at times they both try my patience even though they are both in college and out of the house. The scheisse that I see daily puts it all in perspective.

I thank my lucky stars that both of my adult kids (and grandkids) are @ :30 minutes away from us..

It is definitely hard. My youngest son is 18 and he is going into the trades as soon as he graduates. That means in every sense of the meaning “adult “ that is actually harder for me than my older 2 boys because he will be completely independent by the end of of 2023. It’s crazy and he is the one that sends me all the cool Porsche pictures, cars for sale, projects everyday (seems like every hour). Tough part of parenting for sure

Congrats. Proof that not all young people suck. You've done an amazing job! Some of you guys are making me feel old. My oldest is 33. My youngest 30. Both amazing adults with 3 grandkids between the two. They will still ask for advice occasionally. We get to babysit periodically. They are smarter than me and don't need much help though. I'll take that win.
