Anybody got a source for bulk dawgy rawhides?

I need to buy in bulk, 5 or 10 lbs. and the smaller strips..... and no Chinese or questionable sources. I go through them like crazy ... and PetSmart is such a ripoff. I've checked Chewy and others some time back and didn't see anything that grabbed my attention.

My buddies will thank you :)!

Is there a specific brand you prefer? What do you use now?

We use all natural 'Enzy-chews' from Henry Shine, vet approved. I think they are called a different name now, but still = OK as long as you buy from them.

I haven't had a dog for a few years now....but when I did, I was told to never give the dog rawhide. Maybe that has changed?

What about pig ears...I always gave those to my Springer.

Irregular USA rawhide retrievers

Used to get these 30-40lbs at a time when we had a Husky. He really didn't care that they weren't perfectly rolled.

I may be wrong but I didn't think vets liked rawhide due to intestinal issues they could cause .

Thats what my vet told me to give my current Lab .... and absolutely no bones, etc. My dawgs have always had 'em.... with no issues too. Bones wore down my last Labs teeth over 14 years too along with plenty of rawhides .... she went through 'em. Current Lab is not a huge chewer tho. I trust my vet .... and have used him for 3 decades.

There's a big GSD and two Goldens that meet me at my side fence each morning .... they all have me well trained :).

Thanks all!

My lab-rott mix would go through any rawhide in 10-20 minutes, even the brontosaurus versions. She just saw them as a challenge.

I had to get her real bones. They would last and she loved them.

She once devoured a frozen chicken I left on the countertop to thaw.

Buy the whole cow femur, then I take it to my band saw to cut it into 8-10 pieces.

Those are what I got her. She loved them.

Rawhide bad.

Take a look at these- I don't know how the cost compares, but they'll keep your dogs' teeth sparkling clean. I'm going to get mine on them. I'm 99% sure one of my vets was recommending the HEXtra.

We used to do this. Got tired of the heelers leaving bone shrapnel all over the house.
