I need to find a hog head cap
Today I'm a Technical Systems Administrator 3.
Feb 1 I'll be a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. Now I'm no more of an engineer than your average Sanitation Engineer, but maybe the title change will keep some of the younger guys from jumping ship. We also got a pretty good bump in pay. That's nice. Two pay bumps since the pandemic started. Makes the meager yearly bumps tolerable. I'm still thinking of hanging it up some time in May next year. I'm not 67 yet, but there's several co-workers that are younger than me that have retired recently. We're also going through a merger, although we're so short of people in my department that there shouldn't be any layoffs. |
I had titles that would stretch across a business card ...
I was always just a systems programmer .... but wore lots of hats too... Never had me a hog head cap :D Congrats! I reckon ;) |

Congradulations!
And more money makes everything better. |
Here ya go rockfan .... it fits engineers who don't engineer, programmers who don't program, and managers who don't manage .... one size fits all :D

^^^^ LOL .... that's the one I went looking for online .... found the other one first. I've had plenty of great weekends hangin' on Dickson St. listening to my favorite hippie jam band a few years back too :D!

Just look for a University of Arkansas Razor backs hat. No doubt tons of baseball style hats are out there. A hat like the one above might be harder to find, but they are out there.

Bunches of reg Ark. hog ball caps online .... I was looking for the one SOL posted.

You guys are funny. This is a hoghead cap.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1674079266.jpg My friend Joe used to be an engineer at Trane. He wore one every day to work. I figured out where to spend my extra cash. Went in for a wellness panel in preparation for my annual exam next week. (Cholesterol, Triglycerides, HDL, LDL calc., Glucose) Used to be $25, insurance covered it. This time it was $106, insurance didn't want to pay any of it, called them up and chewed them out, they said they'd cover it but they're only covering about 1/2 of it, so I still owe $52 on what used to be 2 years ago a $25 item. |
