Ornamental plant ID anyone?

Can anyone ID this plant? This is about 3 1/2 or 4 feet tall, if that helps,
leaves are a couple of inches long or so
TIA

Craigster, that looks like it (I'm no horticulturalist, and that's a complete understatement) but the woman I was talking to said the name of the plant and it started with an "I" and now I can't remember what she said. Maybe she was wrong, because that sure looks close to my eye.

By googling 'plants that look like the varigated boxwood" I found 'Euonymus' and that is exactly what she said. Thanks, Craigster for giving me a push in the correct direction!

I thought Boxwood due to height. Here's a page showing various variegated plants....

Euonymus Japonicus 'Aureomarginatus'

Sounds like "eye" too.....

Learned this plant in hort. class - not really used in Florida except northern part. Very popular landscape plant in many areas of the country though.

Here, those would be destroyed by scale.

As an experiment I ran your picture through google search and google identified the plant.

Interesting times we live in........

Pretty sure you can whip up a spray out of hot water, oil, dish soap and cigarette butts that will decimate scale
