Jay Leno, Mike Joy and Trans Am
Can you imagine looking over and seeing Jay Leno, then realizing that that's Mike Joy riding shotgun in this Moostang?
A good episode, it could have been great if Jay could've shut up a little and let the experts explain the cars, especially the Javelin. I get the impression that Penske built a car that Smokey Yunick would have been proud of, but Jay sorta got in the way when they were describing some of the nuances. I like Jay, but some of his thinking is a little bit calcified, and he has a hard time pivoting to another idea, (or even just listening when someone is telling him something).

Donohue's Unfair Advantage has the whole backstory on the AMC t/a... . Great read. The Can Am stuff about the 917 is great.

"I thought these guys were rich and famous. No, they were just famous." LOL
Yes, yes they were...very famous. Mark Donahue was royalty...
