JOTA team partners with Singer, Hertz, and Brady
https://www.dailysportscar.com/2023/03/01/hertz-team-jota-porsche-963-livery-reveal-gallery.html
Singer did a special livery on JOTA race team's jump into Porsche's 963 hypercar, next level. Tomorrow, I get to attend a Q&A with team owner Sam Hignett and some of the team's drivers ahead of the first race at Sebring. FIA World Endurance Championship includes 24hr LeMans. Not yet sure whether we'll attend Sebring this month, but look what showed up at work this afternoon. |

I love the colors and what Singer did to bring the 911 bright work onto the 963 hypercar.

Cool livery. Kind of reminds me of the Miller High Life 962's that Chip Robinson drove bitd.

Very cool. It's a display/roller, right? Jota has an LMP2 car entered for Sebring. Also heard they'll have a second 963 next year.

Yes, it's a roller for PR and marketing. I wish it was the real deal

So the actual hypercar won't be ready for the hypercar class at Sebring. JOTA team will race two LMP cars there.
I scored two Sebring tickets, so Mrs. Doug and I will either hit Sebring Friday or Saturday. Likely, it will be the 12 hr Sat. I got to ask Sam (co-owner) how the Singer/JOTA/Brady/Hertz all came together, but it was one of those we all knew each other moments after a big race. I was rather hoping for some against-all-odds stories we all love, but it was not to be. ![]() ![]() |

I like the car. Design is very modular.
One of those side view mirrors comes off at speed somebody is going to die.

Had no idea the football guy was a race fan.
Thanks for sharing the cool story, Doug. And like most cars, it looks much better in person. Its about as elegant as a prototype can look like these days. I like it a lot.
