I keep wishing to see a new 911 or Cayman like this. Engine in back and motor in front with no mechanical link between them. Seems like an AWD 911 already has a lot of the components in place. Then get rid of the twin turbo 3.0 and replace with a really peaky 3.0 NA with 9,000 rpm redline.

It's cool but it seems like he could have chosen something more conventional (and possibly affordable after all the fabrication that went into this effort) for ICE and transmission. I'd be all about a turbo'd 5cyl Audi DAZA for sound and effect but that's an apples and oranges situation by comparison.
