Sometimes less is more...
a lot of oil companies providing help to this effort.
(I kinda like the interior, just needs a shift knob.) https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1982-porsche-928s-cup-car-street-legal/http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1675276365.jpg |
Cool car. I've always liked 928s.
It's pretty funny that all of the stickers are for oil cos. |
Love the big drag racing tach atop the dash...

A good friend of mine has a 928 GTS4. it was an awesome car, even with the engine in the wrong place. I could hear him as he let the neighborhood close by. It was one of the best sounding V8s ever.
I might maybe, possibly be a little tiny bit prejudiced, but I think the flat 6 of a G body 911 is the perfect engine sound. Even after a 12 hour drive I still love it. That is a cool 928. |
A casual search for a 928 is what led me to Pelican way back when.
That one might attract attention :) |

What is it about that color scheme? Man it just looks so good.

Glen, you nailed it. But then, it might be an age thing. Most who post on the Mustang Bullitt board are middle aged & beyond, preferring the lack of "look at me" stripes, spoilers, etc. Thought long and hard about buying a Boss 302 when they came out in 2012...loved the mechanicals, couldn't stand the visuals.

lotsa work, a big effort for very little performance.
Looks cartoonish body mods and graphics. Lucky if the performance matches an old 5.0 fox body Mustang. |
The floor and interior look like there were done with a spray bomb. There is overspray on the pedals.
Looks great in the first couple shots but the undercarriage is far from ‘race prepped’… It looks to be built for an online flip… |
…stopping power is provided by red-finished calipers over vented disc brakes at each corner.…
Red finished calipers. Haha! The see-through engine cover looks ridiculous. The exhaust looks just high enough to clear a few grains of sand. Obviously not very well thought out. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1675300774.jpg |
