Philomena Cunk is a witless but terribly sincere presenter (who sometimes has trouble reading cue cards) leads viewers through the history of the world with such stunning revelations as, “Brittan’s Titan1C was the world’s first single-use submarine.”
Think Monty Python doing David Attenborough, James Burk, Carl Sagan, and Ken Burns. If you like silly, witty, and slightly cerebral humor in the style of Mony Python you would like Cunk on Earth.

Have been watching her on YouTube for a year. The best are the early ones where the interview subjects don’t know what’s going on.

I’m in.

She was great in After Life.

I managed less than 5 minutes before I had to turn it off.
Couldn't listen to the blather.
I know some find it amusing.

Watched two so far with Mrs LWJ.

Wow. My wife has this thing where she starts laughing and simply can’t stop. It is a great joy to see her completely disabled from laughter. She did this for both the episodes we watched so far.

She has never laughed like this for any other movie or tv show.

Pretty strong recommendation here. It’s funny.

And with a little bit of Borat thrown in as well.

Yes, funny stuff. You need to listen carefully so as not to miss the quick little jabs she'll occasionally drop into her chatter.
