I was at an exotic animal sales event last year and watched a SG jump from a lady's hand into the chest pocket of it's owner 20 feet away. I was astounded.

What is the intent of that landing style? Is it training for damaged landing gear - or what? I can't believe that is an "authorized" normal landing style.
