Interesting. I'll have to give that a try. I usually just use the tip of my pocket knife to pry down the little tab that locks the thing in place. This would certainly be easier, and I'd be less likely to stab myself. (I don't think it's ever happened, but that's always on my mind when I do it.

Two weeks later, a guy rolls up and measures my roof....$32K before clean-up costs.
