I'd gone off a 3m high dive a few times. It hurts no matter how you laid. Feet first, it's like getting slapped on the bottom of the feet and potentially the nuts. Head first feels like getting smacked in the head by a board.

I remember the mythbusters dropping their crash test dummy in the water. They "broke bones" every time. I think a few times they blew the limbs clean off.

172 ft is a long drop. I saw the Acapulco Cliff Divers years back. I think their highest is about half that....into shallow water.

James Spader was excellent in Blacklist! He was like a darker version of how I remember JR from Dallas, a bad guy that would smile and politely tell you how he was going to screw you over or take you out. That's the best kind of villain.
