I didn't know that. I would take it to the wire wheel and clean the area off before I took that plug out.
After watching this "pro" I don't feel so bad about my wife forgetting to clean the top of the gas tank before taking the cap off.

This guy is not telling the truth. All Honda's windshield washer fluid is accessible from the top of the engine bay. Not on the inside of the cross beam, but outside.
