The boot drive for my business partner's computer is a SSD. I built that computer in 2015, so that hard drive has a lot of use. I went over to his place and he had already taken it outside and sucks and cleaned a lot of dust. It is a large, no HUGE tower with 8 hard drives, two high powered video cards and 128 Gig of RAM, and lots of cooling fans. It has space for 6 more hard drives.

Typical of most any computer project a simple 20 minute project to clone the drive, and swap in the new bigger SSD became a many hour project with little "gotchas" and starting over. It is done and all is good. His boot drive is now twice the size, and fresh.

So to just open a computer, clean out the dust and get it back together with no issues is almost like cheating.

I know what you use your rigs for.

You really need to look into a water cooler.

Trust me on this.

My photogrammetry rigs run so much cooler.

And not just the CPU, you can get water jackets for the GPU also.
