Medicare pays....whoda thunk it?

Had my annual 'In Home Health Assessment and a Flu shot done in the last two weeks....which cost nothing.

Today, in the mail, I get these gift cards for doing each.
(Won't need to sell my plasma now.)

My guess is the $35. gets made up if just one person’s out of thousand in home health assessment uncovers something substantial.

My idea, is that the in-home and flu shot save enough money from Dr. calls that it pays off. (I may be totally wrong)

It's done through Priority Health, so there must be an agreement with my local doctors office.

If I get a 'Diabetic Retinal Eye Screening'...it's worth $50
I'm not diabetic...so that's out.

Oh....I forgot. Colorectal Screening is worth $25 (the mail-in type)

I could do one of those every day.

Eggs are $3.50 a dozen here.
I could buy 10 dozen with the two cards.

I think someone may have missed exaggeration to make a humorous point about the increase in egg prices lately

I have a Medicare Advantage plan via Cigna . Just started with them in January . Received a " debit " card in the mail from Cigna . Every quarter they apply $30.00 to the card to be used for over the counter items . Can be aspirin or band aids or whatever . The $30.00 has to be used each quarter it does not roll over.

I have a scheduled colonoscopy on 3/3 and needed to purchase the volcano anal 😁 prep meds . I have yet to try and use the card . My wife was heading to Wally world so I gave her the card . Purchase was seamless with no issues . Nice little perk.
