Doing a magic act ??

stevej37 02-14-2023 10:38 AM

I'll prob skip the white gloves.

matthewb0051 02-14-2023 11:01 AM

Depends on the time, season, and formality of the event. Top hat = white tie

...and tails. Must be a blue blood wedding. Usually you don't out dress the groom.

stevej37 02-14-2023 11:08 AM

I like the Bowler hats. Tails...not so much.

911 Rod 02-14-2023 11:18 AM

Does it come with pants?

stevej37 02-14-2023 11:22 AM

^^^ I'll check into that.

masraum 02-14-2023 11:22 AM

Steve is more of a rock star than that. For him it needs to be tall, and made of leather!

You will be if you show up wearing a top hat :D

flatbutt 02-15-2023 04:47 AM

A black fedora would do nicely.

bob deluke 02-15-2023 07:04 AM

Is there gonna be a rabbit under the hat?

I had a similar question when I was getting ready for a wedding last year. I ended up with a classic tuxedo hat, and it really pulled the look together. If you’re unsure, https://www.gentlemansguru.com/product-category/wedding-tuxedos/ have some great options that could make your decision easier. I found it helpful to try on a few different styles and see which one felt right. Sometimes, the smallest details can make a big difference.

Nice Spam/bot bump.

"Tuxedo hat"?

Top hat or high hat...

Hilarious movie. I'd say Steve was the big guy, but I know that Steve's not that big. I guess Steve's got to be Gene Wilder. Who knew that Steve could sing and tap dance?!?

stevej37 09-06-2024 11:52 AM

^^^ I'm 5'9" and weigh 150....prob similar to Gene...RIP
The big guy is Frank from 'Everybody Loves Raymond'

I started the thread in response to this one.....:)
