Yea... it is getting pretty wild now. It is just supposed to be the football game we have been waiting for all year..
A few years ago, with no favorite team I watched the game and this guy Bruno Mars blew us away.
It was a good performance. I love that song, Uptown funk. Never heard of it before the superbowl.

I was at my local bar and only caught the HT show from across the room. A bunch of people stopped just to watch Justina Miles. I thought that this kid was the best part of the show.

Rihanna is like Beyonce---not really any true musical talent--neither can play an instrument or sing very well without a ton of electronic manipulation. Both are propped up by their managers and producers as simply being performers--to me there's a big difference between actual musicians and those who simply perform to music created by others. Both look pretty good in their little costumes I suppose--although you could truly show a large format movie on Rihanna's forehead. (or is it more of a FIVEhead?) I'm sure there will be a lot of dissent on my opinion--but I'm sticking to my own convictions here. The reason that both of these performers are billionaires has nothing to do with the level of their actual talent. Glorified karaoke with pro-level production, and the public is so incredibly stupid that they lap it up like dogs.

I have not watched the halftime shows since the Stones or ZZ Top. I have no appreciation at all of hip hop or rap "music". I don't like C&W, the Blues or Jazz either.

We switched over to the puppy bowl my wife had recorded earlier. Lots better entertainment there.

I stopped watching for similar reasons. The Prince half time was the best IMO, I thought the Who looked old although I really like their music.
