Seems the roads were wet and sloppy all winter
Took advantage of drying roads yesterday, good for me good for the car.

Weather in upstate NY was great last week. High 50’s-low 60’s, roads dry and sun was out. A few bikes on the road, was tempted to take the TT out for a drive, but thought better of it. The state and county salt the crap out of the roads and you can see dry white salt streaks on the roadways and side streets. Nah, not gonna have that crap fly up on the suspension pieces while driving. The Audi was a summer car, never saw winter. Undercarriage is spotless. My 2010 Cayman was a one owner, supposedly sparingly driven in the Vermont winter, yeah right. Undercarriage aluminum and steel components were pretty rusty and corrosion from road salt. Pickup trucks around here are pretty we’ll toast after driven in winters around here. Usually after 4-5 years you can see rust bubbles on the rear fenders and cab corners. Salt is uses exclusively in my neck of the woods.

Dennis, Glad to see you got the Silver Bird out. Better yesterday than today. Blowing snow here with about 1 km visibility.
Winter ain't done with us yet! Best Les
