Site does not remember me

I've been running into a problem the last couple of weeks. If I'm logged in, with the Remember Me box checked, navigating back up to the top-level of the forum will essentially log me out so that I have to log in again.

I've sent two messages to the webmaster via the Contact us link, but so far haven't heard anything back. Granted, it's only been a day or two, so maybe they still will contact me. I've manually logged out, and then logged back in, thinking that logging out might clear the cookie, but that didn't help.

I've read through the FAQ, but didn't see anything related to my problem.

I've posted here in the Off-topic discussions forum section, as there doesn't seem to be a section devoted to site feedback. Has anyone else run into this problem of getting automatically logged out, even though the Remember Me box is checked?

I suspect one of these will fix the issue, clear your browser cache and cookies, and make sure that your browser is up to date. Most of the time that sort of behavior is due to wonkiness in the cache and/or cookies.

Try forcing the https://forums.pelicanparts.com vs non-secure. Make sure you're not in incognito mode.

It seems that I fixed it. I cleared my browser cache of all of the links to pelicanparts.com, and that seems to have fixed the issue.

Thanks all!
