Joe Rogan in Vegas
Joe quite a pool fan. A darned good amateur player, with a 660 Fargo rating...a notch below journeyman pro. The world 10 ball championships going on, he accepted an invitation to the commentator's booth. He's definitely a pro behind a microphone. Right now, there is no clear "Best" in pool...I waver among 3, maybe 4 players if asked. But Fedor Gorst, playing here is definitely in that group. On that, Joe & I would agree. 32 minutes...listen to Joe...he is damned knowledgeable about the sport of pool. Joe's right...Fedor has a stroke to emulate. Of course, trying to emulate it and emulating it are two different things...

I don't know much about pool but enjoyed the Rogan's podcast with Gorst a few months ago. I learned a lot about the game...pretty intense.

Well, Gorst lost in the semifinals of this one. Congrats to overall winner from Albania Eklent Kaci. Nick, you nailed it on the intense. Being an individual sport, the pressure is all on the player. Tremendous pressure at the top levels of the game. Actually, that semifinal was possibly the best match of the entire tournament. 10 games won to win..this went to 9-9 (hill-hill) with nobody having a clue who would win.. These are two of the 3 or 4 best that I mentioned earlier.
If you have the time...maybe you'll feel tension. Very tough tables...4 1/4" pockets, slower than usual cloth. <iframe width="1268" height="713" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/3Tpac1xXKpI" title="SEMI FINAL ▸ F. Sanchez Ruiz vs F.
