Announcement tomorrow that Honda will supply Aston-Martin from 2026 to 2030.

What's with the rumors that Lewis is heading to Ferrari ? Is that just postering to seal a deal with Mercedes ? One of the F1 websites is saying a Charles/Lewis swap could happen .

Hamilton needs to get out of Mercedes
before he ends up as their #2 driver. But if he does go to Ferrari, he will fail there. Leclerc is screwing up because he is trying to drive a slow car really fast. Same mistake that mick made at Williams. Put him in a fast car and he will be fast. Put hamilton in a Ferrari and he will look like Bottas. |

Honda is a legend among automotive companies that go racing and the Aston Martin team have ambitious plans with a strong technical leadership Will be interesting to see if Alonso is part of the plan if Honda have forgiven him for his unkind remarks during the I'll fated Honda McLaren partnership |

"Never have I raced with such little power!" Those comments weren't directed to me, and I still remember them. No doubt Honda does. Worse than Robby Gordon stomping on the Ford logo on his IndyCar's engine cowling after a motor blew up. |
Official, Honda back in F1 from 2026

They had an embarrassingly bad, under-powered engine that often went kerblamo. They pulled out to save further shame. The engine was developed further with more engineers and lots more money. Now it is the class of the field, and better than the Mercedes powerplant. Might as well come back and share the glory. Hopefully for them, in 2026 they are still winning. If Ferrari can ever figure out race strategy, and Mercedes figure out aerodynamics, they may have a real battle on their hands 3 years from now. Is Audi still entering the fray with a new engine and chassis? And of course the Americans with Cadillac might actually get to play. |
Anyone else find it disconcerting that Aston Martin (an automobile manufacturer who manufacture their own road engines) are powered by M-B now and Honda in the future? At least do it on the down low and slap some Aston Martin valve covers on it if you're not capable of doing your own! I know, I'm a purist

Daddy Stroll only bought Aston Martin so his son would have a ride in F1. He only cares about his boy racing in F1, and he wants to win. I presume Honda made a better deal and he figures Honda will be a better powerplant than Mercedes.
