There's some talk about a BoP adjustment before Spa in May despite the FIA-WEC originally saying BoP was locked until after Le Mans. This would be a change among the 3 platforms, not individual cars: LMH Hybrid (Toyota, Ferrari, Peugeot), LMDh (Porsche, Cadillac) and LMH Non-Hybrid (Glickenhaus, Vanwall). I suspect LMH Hybrid will stay the same. So Porsche and Cadillac would likely benefit the most. They'll probably be tweaking the BoPs all year since these are all new cars and there's no real baseline yet.

The first customer 963s have been delivered to Jota (Hertz-Singer) and JDC-Miller. Jota is at Spa for the 6 Hour this weekend. JDC-Miller will have theirs at Laguna Seca in a few weeks. Proton will debut their 963 at Road America in July.

I think Jota has won the 963 livery contest so far. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1682594609.jpg |

Jota surely took inspiration from this,
https://www.racingsportscars.com/wm/...&wi=&mode=Null I think the JDC car will look far better on track than in the preview pics. Kudos to both privateers for minimizing the look of the dorsal fin. |

Ick. Times three.

After Spa, it's certain that Le Mans is Toyota's race to lose. Ferrari are close on speed but always seem to be caught out by bad luck and mistakes. Porsche and Cadillac? Maybe they can beat them with numbers and attrition  - Porsche will have 4 cars and Cadillac 3.
One of the Penske Porsches simply stopped on track ("it went black"). The other Cadillac had a power steering failure into Eau Rouge and wrecked. The other Ferrari spun on cold tires coming out of the pits and wrecked. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1682794804.jpg |
If there's one place you don't want to go off, it's probably Eau Rouge. I still vividly remember watching Stefan Bellof's fatal Eau Rouge crash in the 956 live back in 1985 when he was trying to pass Jacky Ickx in a 962. Renger got lucky + the safety of the track has been much improved. He was in 2nd place and leading both Ferraris. The commentators were guessing driver error but the steering actually locked up on him.

^So thats why he went too far over the curbs before he lost it? Very nasty crash, glad he is ok.
