B.A.T. question
I was looking at a very desired listing which expires in a couple hours, and wondering about payment methods.
It looks like a couple days for them to respond to general questions and email.. They ask for a CC but the item would be more than the limit. How does it work? |
You wire the funds to the owner after the auction closes.

Thanks. Much appreciated.

BAT just gives you the sellers contact info. How you do the deal is between the 2 of you. You pay the buyers fee with the CC on file with BAT.
|
I noticed the seller's contact info and past sales are not shown before sale, or I didn't look closely enough.
There is no way to search for painted red fans and/or complaints. That makes me wary, because after BAT takes their cut it looks like it's between the individual entities. |

I bought a car on BAT last year and it went very smoothly. Yes, the cc covers BAT and the rest is between you and the seller. In my case the seller was only a couple hours away. After discussing the deal by phone, we agreed on a time and I picked up the car. He was very open when we talked that if the car wasn’t as described he would be fine if I passed on the deal. Of course he was quite confident and for good reason. The car was outstanding. Hope your deal goes as smoothly.
