Anyone seen this before?

I don't see any crowd sourcing function so I'm assuming the site algorithm is just highlighting the roads that meet the criteria with no local knowledge but it looks like a good starting point for planning a road trip through some twisties.

I grew up right in the middle of the twistiest roads, in the Santa Cruz Mountains. But I already knew that. It made a good driver right off the bat. I was drifting in the rain at 16 in my VW Thing.

There is a one road near me with two curves. ;)

I have to get over to Arkansas to find the good roads. Arkansas is the king of roads. All smooth, well maintained, and lots of fun roads.

I looked near my house.

It calls out the road that goes in front of a school and is 100% residential and 25mph as well as another 25mph road. Both are absolute no nos for any speed.

Now there is a nearby road they missed that one can carry a little speed on. But they didn't call it out.

Problem is that on my once favorite curvy roads, the map doesn't show all the pickup/camper and travel trailer set ups that now clog them up. Oregon...ruined by it's popularity.

Hmm, I never thought to use the perimeter road around Hagg lake as a twisty bit.

I'm pretty sure the parks department would frown on that, but....

Yeah, this was my take on it too. Not many roads of interest close by and the ones I saw close to me are not very interesting for stretching ones legs.

I did a google search for driving roads and came up with a few hits of interest locally as well as another site that listed one in each state but it’s saved on my work PC. I’ll post it tomorrow.
