The health benefits of golf are endless. Especially when one opts to walk a round rather then use a cart. I Found it interesting to read that during pregnancy, many women start playing golf to stay in shape because it is not only a low-impact sport but it is excellent for the cardiovascular system which is beneficial to unborn Babies.

^ That reminded me - I'm not a golfer and don't have a ton of interest in the game, but I did read "Golf Dreams" by John Updike once, because I like John Updike. It was really a very good read, and I think I'll find it and reread it.

For some reason, "The Bogey Man" by George Plimpton was a book I read when I was about 15, too. I liked Plimpton then because of his story about being on the Detroit Lions, "Paper Lion".
