I always return them to the corrals and many times I organize the carts in the corral. Sometimes I’ll grab a cart from the corral and go into the store

One day, that *******, is going to get his teeth knocked in.

I don't just return the cart, I grease the bearings, rechrome it, and install a bitzkit on it.

sc_rufctr 03-17-2023 05:53 PM

"Do you return the shopping cart?" - ALWAYS!

fanaudical 03-17-2023 05:56 PM

I always return the cart. Often I will grab other loose carts on the way or ask the elderly shopper if I can return her cart when they finish unloading into their car.

Do a good turn daily...

unclebilly 03-17-2023 05:57 PM

Of course. I’m not some kind of savage.

I hate to see one running loose in the parking lot...esp on a windy day.

I have been known to leave one in the middle of the store when it won't steer straight.

Same here, even if it is raining.

ONG. Those fooking people makes my blood boil. My BP just went up 50 points just watching that. That woman needs to get her ass kick and left bleeding out on the side of the curb next to the shopping cart. Why they fook do people care what others don so much? What's next, go police people in the store to see if they put the items back on the hook or the exact spot where they came off?

look 171 03-17-2023 07:26 PM

I normally do unless I am in a hurry, then I just park it near the entrance so someone can get at it and carry most of my crap to the car. I don't normally go to the market so there's that

No, that's just a lame justification for being an entitled POS.

No it's not the same argument.

The presence of a bagger or not has no effect on anyone or anything other than the convenience of customers.

It's not like a poorly bagged package of Bologna is going to fall out and blow through the parking lot and leave a gash down the side of your wifes pristine ride that costs you a coupla few hundred at the body shop to have addressed.

I almost always return the cart, except at Aldis.
There I always leave it so someone who needs the 25 cents, more than me, can profit.

excellent

I park far away, because my legs work still, so I figure I ought to use them, get a cart someone else left out where I park, and put it in the kart korral when I leave

I take carts back from pretty far away when I am walking my dogs

stevej37 03-18-2023 06:49 AM

Will the Aldi's carts take credit card for the deposit?
I don't carry cash any more. :)

astrochex 03-18-2023 06:59 AM

Always return the cart. Will sometimes offer to another shopper if the timing is right.

I generally don’t park near the cart corral, potentially higher likelihood of unwanted cart to car interaction.

gregpark 03-18-2023 07:14 AM

That guy slapping stickers and harassing people at the store is a schit disturbing a**hole who gets off on pissing people off. Notice that the vids were from Portland? I don't leave carts in the lot but if he slapped a sticker on one of my collector cars and got in my face I might end up in trouble. I have little patience for jackasses like that
