Better order early...

I guess it might be fun and whimsical. It took forever and some fastforwarding to get the the image of Kermit. Kermit only shows up on the 1st of ever month. The rest of the month the little box shows the date. It's not a bad looking watch, and the green isn't bad. I probably wouldn't buy one unless they were cheap and I wanted to make conversation with my grandsons on the first of the month.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure that the green on the dial goes with Bullitt green.

It's too bad it couldn't have included an alarm that sounds like "Hi Ho, Kermit the frog here!"

Actually a pretty sweet looking watch, but, I'm holding out for the
'Oscar the Grouch' version.

didnt watch the video so not sure if he talked about it, but I think Oris is poking a bit of fun at absurd luxury watch craze in the last few years.

Green bezeled rolex submariner is referred to as "the kermit" and was one of the first watches to take off in value ~2020. It almost trippled in resale value over the course of a year or so. A mass produced modern watch

What? $4,600 price tag isn't "luxury" yet? Gotta be 5 figures?

I didn't see/hear that part. So the kermit watch in the video is nearly $5k? Wow. Nope, not remotely for me. I'm not sure that I'd spend more than $500 (and I wouldn't even spend that).

Certainly luxury to me, but almost fairly priced relative to grey market prices of recent hype watches.

I think its general trolling by oris, but they are certainly trying to go up market. Not sure if it will work.

Ye olden oris watches at under 2k were good value imho, ballin on a budget

I did swallow hard at the thought of somebody paying $4,600 for something that looked like a kid's watch to me. In defense of this one...probably not the mugger bait of a Rolex.

I'm not classy enough for a luxury watch...don't think I've spent much over $200 for a watch in my lifetime. I have ruined some watches...I was tough on them during my younger years.
