I'll just take a wok over there.
He's dry, similar to Al Bundy, but absolutely deadpan. Thanks. Right up my alley. |
I have four intelligent sisters and they are all skilled at dry humor. One in particular. Like a fastball low and inside. They sail over many peoples' heads, which is additionally funny.

Love it!
I also like Monty Python and Diane Morgan (Crunk on Earth). |
Dry humor is great! I always loved Barney Miller, although I don't think I've seen it as an adult.
|
I guess it's so dry they had to add a laugh track....
|
Barney Miller was a good show.
|
My dad watched that show, I was a tad young at first, and lots went over my head.
But Dietrich was my favorite. And I also really enjoy Monty Python. "Klein..ei? ei...oh" And that ever so slight grin. I like how when he said "wok" he almost laughed. |

(Yes, there's a laugh track, but like a telephone ringing, it's a suggestion, not a command) |
It's all in the line writing. Thank the writers.

Great clip! Be even funnier without the canned laughter like in Airplane
|
Remember the brownie episode? lol
|
I love dry humor, the Three Stooges, and everything in between :).
BM was a great show! |
|
Having a sense of humor is no longer allowed,
lest you get cancelled. |

I've never seen Barney Miller, so I enjoyed this.
