Sympathy for the Devil.
But the Stones got one key lyric wrong. I rode a tank Held a general's rank When the blitzkrieg raged And the bodies stank Should have been I rode a tank Held a general's rank When the blitzkrieg raged I was center stage Someday I'll let them know. But really, nothing compares to The Friends of Mr. Cairo. <iframe width="1280" height="720" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/__eZAuc2f-Q" title="Jon & Vangelis - The Friends of Mr. Cairo [Official]" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Elton John, Funeral for a Friend…
Live, back in the day, when he used to open a show with it, and the house lights were off. |

*you mean one per post, right Baz? |
Well, without the Beatles there may not be any Rock n Roll. So I'll stick with them, A Day in the Life/Strawberry Fields/Across the Universe pick one, all complex songs, copied but never duplicated. Hard to come up with a wrong answer really, Gimme Shelter/Stairway to Heaven/Purple Haze would be high on my list also.
