I wanted it to be a Horch or a Borgward so bad. It wasn't, so I quit looking. I've never heard of Gregory cars till now. Pretty cool!

We had a Borgward Isabella wagon when I was around 6-10 years old. Too young to judge it, but it didn't seem like much of a car. It was replaced by a Chevy Bel Air wagon with a 283. An improvement.

That's why I wanted it to be a Borgward, or a Horch. An attempt to go sporty from companies that were in their death-throes when the car in the OP (or a 507) was built.

A friend read my article on the Mighty Mite and sent me the picture of his car. That was one of the most fun string of research projects I ever did.
