Morley, of Morley Canoes was the uncle of a gal I dated in college and graduate school. We went by their place on Swan Lake, and paddled around a bit. That little boat was so beautiful, I hated getting it wet. You could pick one up for a mere 7 grand.

My buddy John (who passed a year ago) built this canoe used in Portlandia. I sold it and a spectacular kayak in the process of settling his estate. John is the guy in the yellow shirt carrying the canoe. I am a big fan of beautiful wooden boats.

Man that pretty of a boat needs to be on the water, instead of collecting dust on a mantle somewhere.
