Power went out last night so I ended up going to sleep at like 8. And I tend to only sleep 6 hours at a shot. Got woken up by some noise from the kid (finishing some laundry) and as we are arranging to go back to sleep hear a bunch of branches breaking and then a big crunch.

Drunk driver #32 on the corner.... fairly straight thru shot, actually made it past some serious trees and over a large boulder.... young lady was under 21, so off to jail.

Sucks for the guy - he had been sleepign on passenger side at a party, she got in took keys and started driving... he woke up to me shining a light in his eyes (and holding a pistol but he didn't see that)

Nope, finished with the cops and such about 530, thought briefly about heading out for last day of Spring turkey season (we're allowed two birds/season here, I got my first last week)

Could maybe go fishing, but tides won't be right until after lunch.,... by which time I'm sure I'll be enjoying an old man nap :)

And/or his girlfriend?

And/or he was also charged?

And/or he was injured?

She was taken to jail for drinking and driving - and under 21?

Seems that the county or state would want to address this before someone sober gets killed and their heirs point to the established history of it.
